Angie (Mary) Travis
Owner and CEO of SHINE Pediatric Therapy Center, Formerly Kidz Korner-Niceville.
Angie has been practicing occupational therapy since 1998. She completed her bachelor coursework at the University of Florida and then received her Masters of Occupational Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University. Angie is licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Florida and is certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy.
Angie has primarily worked in pediatrics with a focus on sensory integration. She has practiced pediatric occupational therapy in the home, school, and clinic settings. She has attended numerous continuing education classes in the areas of Sensory Integration, Pediatric Feeding, School Based Therapy, ILS (Integrated Listening System) Handwriting, DIR floortime, Executive Functioning, Self Regulation, Neuro-Atypical learning differences, and Jeanetta Burpee’s intensive sensory integration training level I. She is also certified to administer the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test. She has given several lectures regarding sensory integration and the autistic population to parents and educators of autistic children in the Alachua and Okaloosa County areas.
Angie co-founded and co-owned a private pediatric Occupational and Speech Therapy clinic in Gainesville, Fl where she worked until moving to Niceville, Fl. in 2003. At this time she took time off in order to stay home with her young children. She then worked at Kidz Korner in the FWB area. After some time there, she and Michelle Horin (owner of Kidz Korner) partnered to open Kidz Korner-Niceville. After 3 years of a positive partnership, Michelle and Angie decided to part ways in order to provide individualized attention to each clinic location. At this time Kidz Korner-Niceville was renamed SHINE - Pediatric Therapy Center, maintaining the same staff and mission. Angie and Michelle continue to have a positive working relationship while focusing their efforts on each individual clinic.
Diana Ham
Front Office Manager/Billing Specialist
Diana and her husband relocated to Florida in October of 2021. After having lived most of her life in and around North Pole, Alaska, it was time for a change, and her husband wanted to move back to the area he was raised in. Diana has been in various customer service positions ranging from bookseller to group hotel reservations, and now Medical Reception. She has loved being around kids for as long as she can remember. Diana was a long time nanny, and volunteered many hours in the Child Development Center at Eielson AFB. In her free time she enjoys sewing, reading, cross stitch, and cooking just to name a few. Diana looks forward to meeting and working with all of the kids and families.

Danielle Enrico
Occupational Therapist / Therapy Lead
Danielle graduated from Nova Southeastern University in December 2021 with her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. She completed rotations in pediatrics, mental health, and acute rehab and has been working in outpatient therapy since becoming licensed and certified. Prior to attending graduate school, Danielle gained experience in education where she taught children of all ages and children with special needs, where she first encountered occupational therapy. She completed her doctoral residency working with high school students developing and implementing a peer-led social-emotional enhancement program with campus wide outreach activities.
Danielle recently moved to the area from southeast Florida where she was born and raised. She enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring nature. She is honored to help guide the families and kiddos in meeting their goals and reaching their full potential!
Tracy Stowers
Occupational Therapist / Content Developer
Tracy graduated in December 2021 from Tennessee State University with a master’s degree in occupational therapy. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in public relations. She is licensed in the state of Florida and is certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy.
Tracy pursued her OT degree after teaching preschool for over 10 years and multiple encounters with occupational therapists who taught her how to be a better teacher. She has a passion for pediatric therapy and loves to learn.
Tracy and her husband, Chris, relocated to Niceville in August 2021 from Brentwood TN where they spent the last 10 years. They have 2 adult children - Megan and Caleb. In her free time, Tracy enjoys walking, playing tennis, reading, playing games with her family, and rooting for the Gators.
Kelsey Davis
Occupational Therapist
Kelsey Davis earned her Master of Occupational Therapy from Tennessee Wesleyan University. She completed her Associates of Arts degree at Northwest Florida State College and received her Bachelors of Exercise Science from The University of West Florida. Kelsey grew up right here on the Emerald Coast and she is so excited to give back to her community by helping others grow through occupational therapy. She has a passion for helping children achieve their goals through biomechanical, creative, and play based learning styles. Kelsey and her husband have one sweet daughter. When Kelsey is not working, she enjoys quality time with her family working on their homestead. She loves to be outside, tending to her garden and animals, and traveling.
Marissa Sackett
Occupational Therapist
Marissa completed the combined BS/MS Occupational Therapy Program at Ithaca College in New York. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in occupational science in 2020 and a master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2021. She is certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy and is licensed in FL as well as in NY. Marissa has experience in early intervention and school-based services.
Marissa’s passion for working with the pediatric population began when she started working as a teaching assistant for a school in NY. This is where she first observed pediatric OT, ultimately leading her to pursue this as her career!
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family/friends, going to the beach, playing tennis, and watching movies.
Janell Davis
Occupational Therapist
Janell graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Tuskegee University December of 2022. Her clinical journey led her through rotations at an Outpatient pediatric facility, Skilled nursing facility, Traumatic Brain Injury clinic and a lymphedema clinic. Before furthering her education, Janell worked at summer camps and served as a mentor for many young girls through a community organization. Working with kids has always been a passion for her.
As a board-certified and licensed Occupational Therapist in Florida, Janell brings her expertise to the Emerald Coast. With a commitment to changing lives, she is poised to make a positive impact on the community through her specialized skills and genuine compassion. In her free time, Janell enjoys spending time with her fiancé and maltizu- buddy, watching movies and traveling! She is eager and enthusiastic to work with the SHINE team and further develop her clinical skills.
Stephanie Edwards
Occupational Therapist
Stephanie graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Science in April 2020 with her Masters in Occupational Therapy. She completed rotations in inpatient rehab and acute care but has been working in pediatrics since becoming licensed and certified. She is licensed in the state of Florida and Texas and is certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy. Stephanie’s passion for working with the pediatric population began in college where she worked at an Autism center. This is where she first observed pediatric OT, leading her to pursue a career in pediatrics. Stephanie recently moved to the area from Texas. She enjoys spending time outdoors at the beach, paddle boarding, hiking and traveling in her free time. She is excited to be working as part of the Shine team, helping families and kiddos in meeting their goals!
Emma Baker
Speech Therapist
Emma is from the small town of Lecompte, Louisiana, and moved to Florida in June 2022. Emma has always dreamed of living in Florida since she was a little girl so this is a dream come true for her! She graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2019. Emma received a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from Louisiana Tech University in 2022.
In graduate school, Emma found her passion for working with children and focusing on play-based intervention. Emma strives to make each child feel welcomed and have fun during every session! She loves learning about any and all language disorders. In her free time, she enjoys being on the beach, walking her dog Nola, and spending time with her family and friends.
Dylan Welch
Speech Therapist
Dylan is originally from St. Petersburg, Florida and moved to the Niceville area in May of 2023. Dylan graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech and Hearing Science followed by a Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2023.
Dylan discovered her love for working with children and helping foster their language development in graduate school. Her favorite thing about working at SHINE is the opportunity to build relationships with all of the families she works with and values the trust placed in her. She strives for a positive and encouraging environment within therapy sessions. Dylan takes into account care for the child as a whole and their individual needs which often involves collaborating with other passionate professionals in other fields of therapy.
Dylan enjoys her free time by hanging out with friends and family, playing with her dog Winston, and trying out new foods at local restaurants.
Ashton Polachek
Occupational Therapist
Ashton is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist from Dallas, TX. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Baylor University then went on to get her Master of Occupational Therapy at Texas Woman’s University. Ashton has 3 years of experience working with the pediatric population and has a passion for seeing children succeed through play based intervention. She has attended various continuing education courses including topics such as feeding, sensory integration, and primitive reflex integration. In her free time Ashton enjoys reading, travel, local coffee shops, the outdoors and any new adventure she and her husband, Sam, can come up with.
